Visiting brother and sister on Bainbridge Island, was in San Fran all last week visiting another sister. BTW, when you’re retired you’re not on vacation, you’re just traveling. Flying back to IOWA on Thursday thru Dallas where I do my best to bankrupt the Admirals Club there. Erick All, just another IOWA TE.

Agreed. His reputation is still living off of that Super Bowl run a few years back. Right now he would not worry me if we were to play the Bengals.
Maybe injuries have finally caught up to him. He has been banged up a little bit.

Wrist is a tough injury. No blood circulation. May never heal fully.
Early in his career he was using his legs a lot to scrammble run and extend plays… Injuries have really hurt that aspect of his game… He had 10 rushing td’s in his first 3 seasons… Zero in 2023 and 2024.

It’s one of the reasons I’m not really enamored with overtly running quarterbacks. While they can be electric when healthy, they tend to get injured and once that aspect is gone, are usually much less effective quarterbacks. For the most part, you better win with them within 4 to 5 years. With a few exceptions, this seems to be the window.

Allen is great tonight. One of my complaints is that when the pressure is on, his impulse is to run. This is not the best instinct in the playoffs, which is another drawback of the running QB (even a healthy one - and he isn’t even your quintessential running QB).
