I personally prefer what we got from the Rams, but how fun would the mock drafts be??? 2 of the top WR’s? The 2 top tackles?
I guess Tim Boyle would’ve been well protected or had some nice weapons to throw to.

Kyle Pitts is so dominant, the league is now mandating that 2 top 10 picks will need to be used just to draft him. True story.

Apparently the Panthers offered us number 8 too, but there offer wasn’t as good as the Rams overall either.
Oh that’s right! Duh… I had forgotten and was just thinking about the fun to be had with mock drafts. A short memory is a benefit when you’re a Lions fan.

This is why I find it a tad odd people think Goff was forced on us.
We could have easily had two top 10 picks this year and been able to move up and take whatever QB we wanted. If that’s what we had wanted to do.
Or we could have stayed put and took who ever fell to us.
We didn’t need to take Goff. We chose to take Goff.
I think Holmes knows Goff far better than anyone else outside the Rams organization. He knows his value and what it will take to help him be successful.
