I think they promote from within for OC but from outside for DC.
I think there will be no promotion available on the offensive side.
Maybe if he answers questions like he sometimes does with the press, ‘That’s for me to know and you not to’

You are right.
I should have clarified.
Williams is definitely a leader but hasn’t pursued a Defensive Coordinator role.
He would make a great assistant head coach, just not a Coordinator.
