Chas Nimrod.
I just want the jersey, really.
Is he related to JG2ASB ?
Dont’e Thornton, Jr. WR Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee
Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
Man it sucks that he got hurt. Along with Skattebo ASU’s best player, and now they go into the Big 12 championship game and potentially the playoffs without him.
I’d like to add some and remove some for me…
Add:
CB Benjamin Morrison
Say what you want about his tackling…thing…but this is the only guy I ever saw actually look good against Marvin Harrison. Marv was having a really tough time getting open against him, and IMO that game is what put him on the map.
Marv looked really good against Will Johnson, Quinyon Mitchell, Kelee Ringo/Malaki Starks/Kamari Lassiter, Cooper DeJean, and Kalen King/Joey Porter Jr, but had a tough time against Morrison.
EDGE Jared Ivey
EDGE Jalon Walker
OT Josh Conerly
DT Mason Graham
CB Will Johnson (not sure how I wasn’t already on this one officially)
S Xavier Watts
EDGE Jack Sawyer (I’m finally ready with him)
Remove:
LB Harold Perkins (weight/injury history concerns me)
Personally, I don’t watch enough college games anymore to have a crush. What I can say is that I’ve watched a LOT of Cal football the last 20 years and as Cal is generally sucky, when a player stands out at Cal and is dominating top pac-12 (now ACC) players, that dude likely will be a player in the NFL. Sometimes a guy doesn’t quite have the measurables or speed to make it at the next level, but otherwise it’s been a successful formula.
Watching Nohl Williams, he looks like the biggest game changer Cal has had in a few years.
Does that mean he will be an elite pro bowler in the NFL? Not likely, but I do think he will add value to a team and I could see Brad holmes taking him mid day 3 as an athlete that can play different positions and ST.
Let’s call him my draft over-achiever instead of crush
Just my specific example :-).
To go along with my hopeful Nimrod jersey purchase, here’s an early peak at another on my radar:

His jersey will be a top seller for obvious reasons….
I assume/hope that the K is not silent.
My three crushes are
Harold Perkins LB LSU
Nick Nash wr San jose st
Jordan Burch DE Oregon
I don’t know what’s funnier, his name pronounced correctly or his name pronounced with a k sound.
Mark kuh-nop-fuh-ler
LOL
Presuming it’s a silent K, can you imagine being the play by play guy to get the assignment to call the game? Do you just use his number? First name? Make up a wrong but more socially acceptable pronounciation?
Squirrel White please. I have never seen him play, don’t know anything about him but i want him here. You dont have a name like that without having some utility.
They’re probably glad just to be past Penix. LOL
I see EMU and that name (Noah’s) and instantly connect him to Maxx Crosby. Maxx is straight hood.
Lol the Raptors got a young guy with the last name Dick. The announcers have a blast with it. This jersey swap was a little awkward and went viral. Lol
LOL.
Here’s me trying to say Knopfler without the silent consonants.
It is not, and the i is pronounced more like an -ay. The story:
I had a teacher in high school named Ms. Knudsen and the k was pronounced. kuh-NOOD-sun, I think it happens more often in names than words. Pretty sure knish is the only one where the k is pronounced.
Definitely hitting the K on Knudsen.
When I lived in South Korea, we had a new teacher one year. And his name was Mr. Scibal. Well sounds harmless right. Except shibal means ■■■■ in korean. So this teacher was telling all the korean students his name was Mr. ■■■■. It was pretty hilarious. None of them could keep a straight face. He went by Mr. S very soon afterwards.
