He’s fun
I knew you would do this to me. Put me down for Caldwell as well.

@that2 and I have decided that we’re going to draft Caldwell and Alim is going to mentor him on revamping his diet. He’ll lose 30 lbs of bad weight and become Alim part II. It’s in the stars.
Sometimes you just need a little kick in the ass. I’m here for you, man.
It’s so easy to see late-career NC State Alim in Caldwell’s game. The intangible stuff will have to be vetted, though I think I remember you saying he was a good kid. Now we just gotta sort out the loves-football part.
Ty Robinson as a 3T
From what I’ve heard they love him in Eugene. Gentle giant, fun loving type supposedly. Loves life, ergo loves food.
He does seem a lot like Alim coming out of school as a person as well. Not the same dinger hitting hand eye coordination but who has that. And while that probably comes in handy some with hand fighting it’s not that big of a deal.
The explosion at his size was what caught my eye with Alim, and it’s what’s drawn me to Caldwell as well. Those guys shouldn’t have that level of burst. Now we just have to find out what kind of work ethic he has.
That’s the same with me. I imagine he’ll do quite well in All Star game one on ones as a result.
Right, which is why I was both excited to see him there, and sad that everyone else will get to see him thrive too. Though it’s not like the teams don’t know about him, just draft media.
I would like to add Florida Gator NT Cam Jackson. Thanks.
Like him. I feel he fits us well. In my opinion he needs trim some weight so he can play DE for us and can increase his ability/COD. Coach Rhule even said he can drop weight if needed. He is going to be a doctor so that is something to think about. Maybe he was not totally focused on his conditioning as he is focused on his studies? How will he focus going forward? I see jj watt in him if he wants it. Feel he will be best utilized as a DE. He can play all over in the right situations.
Utah State WR Jalen Royals. Speed like Jamo and great at catching anything thrown his way.
I’ve gone back and forward on it. I still think his best fit is the Cam Hayward role in Pitt’s defense but given the way we play I think I like him best on the inside. Certainly on passing downs at least. If we want to do the Commish thing with him that works.
I mean sure if he could drop 30 lbs then yeah he’d be perfect for our Base End role. Dude would be an Adonis at 280. I’m just not sure he’s been that size since he was 16 or 17.
i would bet Ty Robinson trims to atleast to 300lbs by the combine. Id like him at 285-290 for an even front? By honestly, what is an even or odd front of you put a SAM on the line of scrimmage like Derrick Barnes? An even front turns to an odd front. Everything is pretty fluid when you look at at it. I just look at players and try to maximize them. I do not want to derail this thread. I will move to 2025 Draft Thread.
He played at around 312-315, right?
I do not know. I do not weight him. I would ask him to cut 10-15lbs to maximize his abilities. He will probably show up to the combine like that. Ill move to other thread now. We can exchange comments there.
Yeah, I didn’t think you weighed him. I meant what is he generally listed at. I’ve seen 312 and I think 316. He’s a big boy for sure so in the 280s he’d be looking pretty svelte.
I’m back from holiday vacation. The UFOs on the east coast didn’t abduct me, so I guess that means I’ll get around to updating the list tomorrow!
You probe-ably just don’t remember it.
I’d like to add LS Kneeland Hibbett to my crush list.
Why you may ask?
I threw with him in outdoor track in high school. (In the same meets, not at the same school)
(And he was MUCH better than I or anyone else was)
I knew him BEFORE he was cool!
Is he cool?
