Brad is as loyal as they come with his draft picks, yet both BroMart and Sorsdal appear to testing the limits of that loyalty. I envision them both in camp with Brad hoping that the 3rd season is the charm. I can envision both being left off the final 53. The draft will clarify a lot for us.
Really not sure. Gonna have to show improvement in training camp to make the 53 man roster. Then again Bromart started last year on IR. Was he actually injured? Or was that just a way to open up another roster spot to keep Peko. Martin wasn’t on the 53 man roster until late November.
Sorsdal needs to go back to guard. He aint an nfl offensive tackle
I think they knew BroMart was a multiyear project player. Add to that he missed most of last year with injury. When he played there was good and bad. I never saw him as a quick breakout player. I expected the 3 year path from day 1. They loved his size length and personality so they were willing to play the long game.
I think fans are way more frustrated than Brad. I think he still believes in BroMart.
They need to show improvement. BroMart needs to improve to the point where the coaches are confident putting him in the rotation. Sorsdal needs to show that he’s, at the very least, shown marginal improvement on his footwork.
I mean McNeil is out for a little while and I don’t know where Wingo’s at with his knee. If he can’t “earn” snaps at this juncture then I question if he’s worth keeping. I hope he does put it together this offseason because I am rooting for him, but the cord has to be cut at some point if there isn’t enough improvement.
Miracle is extreme, but I agree it seems unlikely. If making the team requires a miracle, they should trade him for a 7th if possible because traits can be alluring, before he’s exposed further in training camp.
