2025 Mock Draft Thread

I do like, as an admitted UM homer, that Mullings pick in the 7th. Kid has some potential.

Yeah, similarly sized dudes. Turner was listed at 6’3, 300 and checked in at 6’3, 290. They both played edge and T. I agree that Burch is probably more athletic, but that’s no shot at Turner, he’s borderline freakish as well. Especially in short areas. His 2023 game tape might be first round stuff. Rumor is he played through an injury this year as well, but I can’t confirm that.

Rumor is Burch played through an injury much of 2024. And he still put up 1st round tape in my opinion. He was everywhere forcing fumbles and making sacks. He dropped into coverage and had pbus. And when he got the ball in his hads he looked like a natural ball carrier. He made lots of spash plays.

My latest attempt.

  • Sent next year’s second to Vegas (and got a fourth next year in return) to jump and get Scourton. Generally speaking, I think there’s more chance of us trading up in the 2nd or 3rd than there is in the 1st.
  • Towards the end I was guessing a bit!

He had a very good 2024 for sure. And yeah, him running on that fake punt is why everyone knows he’s a great athlete. Not disputing that. If we took him at 60, I’d be pretty happy about it, he’s a really good fit physically. But there are legit reasons he’s not a consensus 1st rounder, not to mention a glove fit with our FO.

Any time Buchanan is one of those guess, that’s worth a thumbs up!

Ezeiruaku, Pearce and green are gonna get steamrolled in the run game. Pearce in particular. Pearce gets blocked by TEs. Ezeiruaku and Pearce have no speed to power. My opinion is these are the most overrated player in media draft are these 3. Along with Kenneth Grant.

Burch I like in round 2. They played him as a 4i a bit and that is not his strength in my opinion. Id be quite happy with him in round 2. I like turner quite a bit too.

Jake Majors is a nice choice. Or Jackson Slater.

Mulling is going to be one of the big RB that if you block it well, the 3rd level wont wanna tackle him. And he would be a good goalline back and ST. He will be a day 3 steal. Damien Martinez also is tough runner to check out for a day 3 RB.

I’d like a blocking TE in this draft.

@Thats2 will add like Donovan Jackson. Maybe our future RT or LT after filling in at OG until it’s time?

Just some thoughts.

Can we get jackson in round 4?

I like Jackson’s tape better as a T honestly than I did at G, though he’s no slouch there either. I wouldn’t have any problem adding him at all.

I like the Teslaa pick

I think D. Jackson would be a fine OG until its time to go to OT. I just rewatched OSU/Tennesses. Just very good technique at LT. Took Pearce on with zero issue. One guy that kinda is interesting and probably wont be drafted is Tennessse DL Dominic Jackson. Could see him as a nice edge setter. Surprisingly he is has some dip and bend, but needs to work on changing directions and hand usage and counter moves. For a UDFA he is worth a shot. 4 star from high school. Looks like long arms. They played him alll up and down the line. Id like him a power end if he can work on the issues i mentioned above.

Still like Ty Robinson a heck of a lot. I think he has the skills to learn how to get more agile and be a power DE. The weight loss sure helped him. What do you think?

I like Robinson at the right price, which for me would be around the AG pick at 101. He checks all of our boxes for sure.

Sorry, Tennessee kids name is dominic bailey #90. Probably udfa. 247 scouting report

Reminds Us Of

Lawrence GuyNew England Patriots

“Ideal frame and size for interior defensive lineman. Athletic, quick-footed and plays with high energy. Uncoils at snap and plays low. Powerful and strong, especially in lower body. Can collapse pocket. Plays violently and physical. Quick hands. Re-routes down line of scrimmage well. Good speed for size. Tremendous body control and shoot gaps. Relies heavily on speed, power. Must develop technique. Multi-year starter at Top 20 program. Likely develops into a Day 3 NFL draft pick.”

Id like to see Ty’s RAS as a DE. The website does not work for me. If anyone can post it.

Just ran a first 3 rd mock
I would kill for this outcome
