2025 Mock Draft Thread

I like that draft but Grant will be gone I like Landon Jackson but think Lions would take Nic Scourton

I like your rd 2 pick an really the rest we need a DT or secondary with pick 3 That depends on how draft falls.

Of the 2, Iā€™d go with your hindsight and take Jackson over Burden. I want to see a little more dust settle on free agency before my next mock.

Brad may shock everyone and take a WR with that first.

Yeah Iā€™m thinking him too didnā€™t think Nic would be there either but he may be , would be a great pic

He would shock me if that WR was Burden. That guy is uninterested when the ballā€™s not coming his way. We wonā€™t draft players like that. Gotta block if you want the rock.

Iā€™d love that draft. Would just be hoping for the best at OG but I believe in Hank.

Yeah one of my favorites. Definitely would heap a lot of pressure on Slater.

Whoomp!! There it is, until something else makes sense.

#28 Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M

#60 Oluwafemi Oledaji, Edge, UCLA

#102 Jordan Phillips, NT, Maryland
He may already be taken. I think this is a sweet spot for NTs and an easy alternative for me would be JJ Pegues, Jamaree Caldwell or CJ West.

#128 Isaac Teslaa, WR, Arkansas

#196 Nash Jones, G/T, Texas St.

#228 Craig Woodson, S, California
Least likely of the picks to be here?

#248 Thomas Perry, C, Middlebury

I do love me some Oladejo. Woodson too.

Yes

I havenā€™t done a mock since this one.

I might just keep this one as final

@BubbaBaker-60 my brotha what would you say if it went down like this

I would say you need to stop using PFN. Theyā€™re the only one where Grant falls that far, which is entirely unrealistic. Early 2nd maybe, at the latest.

Also I would say thatā€™s way too high for Sawyer, but you already knew that, and I would question why youā€™re spending 77 on a RB of all things.

BPA right?

So if I switched Grant and Sawyer would that work??

That would be more realistic, yeah (though I still think Grant goes in the 1st pretty easily). But I think Sawyerā€™s wee arms along with what I suspect will be average to below-average testing will continue to push him down the board.

If you were drafting Jeanty at 77, Iā€™d be all for BPA. But personally Iā€™ve got Judkins as RB7, soā€¦

Also, while Iā€™m a proponent of BPA, what I really mean is ā€œBPA at a position of some level of need now or in the near future.ā€ So does everyone. The Chiefs arenā€™t taking a QB no matter how high he is on their board. And a RB, for us, will hardly see the field without injury. For the next 2 years minimum. And RBs donā€™t need to sit, theyā€™re the most likely position in the draft to hit the ground running right away.

Why?

Iā€™m good with it otherwise.

Did Wester save you from drowning in a river or something?

I like this player but I liked him a lot more when I could get him in the 4th round. I saw one draft where Kiper had us taking him in the 1st round.

Heā€™s going a lot higher than that though, despite the rawness on his tape. Upside edge rushers always do.

Always a soft spot for them FAU boysā€¦

Trey, Final 4 a couple years ago and Dusty to U of M, now Lajohntay round 7.

Makes too much sense to me!
