5’7” 205. Wow..
He is going to be so good. I wish he was ready right now. That’s the exact type of bat and defense that the Tigers need.
I can’t wait until he’s ready to join the tigers. I think we really have something special there.
Rainer on fire 5/5 hr 2 doubles up to .293 and over .900 ops.
Riley Greene’s jersey number?
My grandpa loved Rainer. It was the only way that I could think to honor him while wearing the jersey of a guy he believed would become an all-time great tiger.
Ahh…
Duh…
Great choice!!!
Charlie would be proud
The night of that draft he really wanted a stud SS in a bad way. He thought there would be an outside chance that either Konner Griffin or Bryce Rainer would fall to us. If we couldn’t get either of them he figured Trey Yesavage would be there and thought he would be a great pick. The look on his face when they announced our pick was priceless.
He was no dummy.
Makes me wonder what his numbers would look like if he hadn’t tore is shoulder up. It took him a bit to get going once he came back from the surgery.
This guy is going to be a stud though. McG, Rainer, Clark, and Brecieno. Roughly half of our lineup will be home grown studs. Our future is in good hands especially with the way our young pitchers are developing.
The guys that keep calling for Harris’ head. You need to take a deeper look. Detroit is not a big market city. We will never be able to afford the top free agent guys. We will win by drafting and developing great…which Harris is very good at doing.
I hope Harris can manage to trade assets and get good returns when he knows the Tigers can’t/or won’t pay to resign the home-grown talents.
That’s the area of concern with Harris imo. He really doesn’t have a great track record at the trade deadline.
He needs to get better or hire someone that can give him good advice and accept the help.
Max hit a leadoff dinger in his return home to Indiana.
