2026 Super Bowl expected to be in San Fran

It’s really too bad , even slightly angled it seems like it would’ve been better. I don’t really see a fix either

That is literally what is going on in NFL stadiums. The suites are what pay the bills. I remember many stadium funding conversations over the years, including the 49ers. Being in an area and having a pull that would attract enough high dollar suite purchases was a major piece of the conversation.

Just be careful of all the needles & piles of human excrement on your way to the stadium.

I remember being on that job site while the stadium was being built, some fun memories. We did have discussions with the architect early on in the design phase regarding a canopy and they, owner, decided not do it.

Also worked on the current LA stadium regarding the canopy options they were looking at, again early on. We were in the running as we provided the Livestrong canopy in KC but in the end the pillow style option was preferred. One of the best parts of that job was all of the stadium work we were in on from all the pro leagues to college teams.

The Bay Area is weird with a bunch of microclimates.

Santa Clara / San Jose tends to have more “normal” weather where it is hot in the summer and gets colder in the winter.

San Francisco is weird in that its warmest time is July - October and the rest of the year it’s pretty stable (cool) temperature wise.
