Another Holmes draft killing rounds 1 & 2
I honestly thought he was already drafted in round one. Hate giving up a ton in the 3rd round
Charlie Campbellās instant assessment, but itās wrong. Tate is a better pass blocker than run blocker, right? Though heāll be ideal on the move in the run game for us. I think. Correct me if Iām wrongā¦again.
Detroit Lions: Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia ā B+ Grade
The Lions wanted to address guard in the first round, but they couldnāt land Tyler Booker or Donovan Jackson. They finally get their guard in the second round. Tate Ratledgeās pass protection is worrying, but heās a great run blocker. He makes sense in this range.
This is the general feeling amongst most, yes.
He only allowed 4 pressures last season so Iām not sure where thatās coming from.
Right. I think in his haste to pump out a draft grade, he got his words or facts reversed.
I feel like this oline needs a good nickname⦠How aboutā¦
Decker and the Dirtbags
Sounds like a rock band
Love building the trenches with mean SOBs with these picks. The trade seems like a bit of an overpay but the Lions have some serious beef and talent on both lines ready to ā ā ā ā up some opponents. Gotta love that
Brad went back in time to 1984 and drafted a porn star who was a jobber from NWA wrestling that used to get power slammed by Road Warrior Animal.
No, Iām talking 1984. Legit not nasty boy gimmick. But pure jobber ![]()

I live here in Atlanta, Georgia. He IS our starting OG. Heās only played RG. He is believed to have position flexibility. I say line him up at RG and figure everything else out.
Love the idea of Sewell and Ratledge on the right side of Ragnow. Not sure about a leftside of Decker and Mahogany/Glasnow though.
Ratlege reminded me a ton of Decker in his combine interview. Very similar demeanor and mannerisms.
We gave up a 4th to 7th pick swap for 3 spots round 2
Eagles gave up a 5th for 1 spot round 1.
I feel like we did overpay here, but we didnāt have a 5th to kick in and they said no to a 6th Iām sure.
@Thats2 as soon as Belton went off the board we moved up ā¦
That is clearly a cigar and not a blunt, no.
