Charlie Campbellā€™s instant assessment, but itā€™s wrong. Tate is a better pass blocker than run blocker, right? Though heā€™ll be ideal on the move in the run game for us. I think. Correct me if Iā€™m wrongā€¦again.

The Lions wanted to address guard in the first round, but they couldnā€™t land Tyler Booker or Donovan Jackson. They finally get their guard in the second round. Tate Ratledgeā€™s pass protection is worrying, but heā€™s a great run blocker. He makes sense in this range.

Love building the trenches with mean SOBs with these picks. The trade seems like a bit of an overpay but the Lions have some serious beef and talent on both lines ready to ā– ā– ā– ā–  up some opponents. Gotta love that

I live here in Atlanta, Georgia. He IS our starting OG. Heā€™s only played RG. He is believed to have position flexibility. I say line him up at RG and figure everything else out.

Love the idea of Sewell and Ratledge on the right side of Ragnow. Not sure about a leftside of Decker and Mahogany/Glasnow though.

Ratlege reminded me a ton of Decker in his combine interview. Very similar demeanor and mannerisms.

We gave up a 4th to 7th pick swap for 3 spots round 2

Eagles gave up a 5th for 1 spot round 1.

I feel like we did overpay here, but we didnā€™t have a 5th to kick in and they said no to a 6th Iā€™m sure.
