The 49ers have Kyle Shanahan. I would not credit Lynch. Some of his misses are downright embarrassing.

You could be right. And it is also worth noting that last season and this least offseason there were a lot of critics out there with the way Lynch was building this team.

Exactly. Even now with such a great record (aka coaching), most people question the underlying talent being able to back up the record and do any real damage in the postseason.

See this thread could have been a really good talking point. It could have been a good reference for a team on a rebuild and a reminder on how things were not always sunshine and rainbows for the niners and their management but that is not how you meant the thread. You just wanted to emotionally dump on the lions and used a poor example of what you wished the Lions were, because Lynch and Shanahan faced the exact same scrutiny in year two of their regime. Who knows if MP and BQ can turn it around…but there were a lot of niners fans feeling exactly like you last year when talking about Lynch.

BQ wants to keep a shit of a coach. Should say enough about who he is a gm. Team looks like they don’t have faith in guy who has no clue of what he is doing. BQ had made no impact on us getting better. We all wanted other GM’s gone, but why keep Quinn around?

LOL, so lets highjack the thread and ignore any valid points. No one said BQ is amazing. You start a thread saying the niners have Lynch and we have BQ. It is pointed out that You could actually be correct but lets also keep in mind that Lynch was under a lot of fire during and after last season. It is a talking point…rather then talking you pout and then assume that I and anyone else who isn’t going “fuck ya bro, fire his dumbass” is okay with 3 fucking wins. Lazy and dumb. No one is okay with 3 wins. But lets all pretend that every 3 win team is the same and losing Matthew Stafford for the final 8 games isn’t a big deal.

Again we aren’t winning and they are. I’m not here to fight with people. As some one said coaching is the reason why, but hired the coach we have?

The 49ers and the lions are clearly going in opposite directions this year. However, if the 49ers do not lose another game and finish 14 wins and two losses this year in the regular season, then Lynch’s record in his 3 seasons as GM will be 24 wins and 24 losses with one playoff appearance. Comparatively by record only, Bob Quinn’s record in the first three years as GM was 24 wins and 24 losses with one playoff appearance.
I’d have to check this to be sure, but it seems like many of the same people who were screaming for the Lions to purposely lose out both last year and this year are some of the same posters screaming the loudest about why they’re not winning. SMH solf
Frankly I’m very skeptical of whether or not they will turn it around next year, but the complaining for the sake of complaining has little to no merit
