Our new Jumbo TE

Yeah major upside guy, a pick for the future. Not terribly unlike the BMart pick last year.

I know a lot of teams loved him.

He will be better in 2025 than a 3rd round OT we draft

Redshirt year gets to train with us

Ugh, really, we gave up a 2025 3rd for this guy?

Shouldn’t be surprised they went ahead of Philly to make the pick, either. Trench warfare.

Swing tackle with raw phyiscal upside, played at LT

hes a big boy, needs a year, but he could be a solid starter for sure, and an excellent back up

The performance drew rave reviews from scouts and led to Manu completing 11 predraft visits with the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Denver Broncos. He has also spoken to the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, and Minnesota Vikings via videoconference.

According to Pro Football Reference , there is only one active Tongan-born player in the NFL: offensive lineman Netane Muti. The 25-year-old was born in the capital city of Nuku’alofa and was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, though he now plays for the Detroit Lions.

Umm…ok…

Would like to see what kind of player he is 10-20 pounds lighter.

What little I saw so far, I’m actually fired up about this pick. Looks a lot better than Broderic Martin did on film as our last ā€œprojectā€ pick.

Wonder which area scout had the fun job of going to look at this guy

I love it.

I hate giving up future picks, but i love they now have a monster of an OT to develop behind Sewell and Decker. He looks like a great athlete and if this staff can continue to get what they do out of their players, this could be a huge win.

Honestly, give me ceiling picks over floor picks all day on day 3. We’re at the phase of our roster build where we can do that.
