I really, really doubt the Texans would be involved in this. The repercussions would be immense.

IF, and it’s a tremendously huge IF, the Texans are involved in this, the owners should be forced to sell. Period.
They would be forced to sell. I’m quite sure of it. Ownership is not involved in this. No way.
It is possible that everything is consensual and the attorney calculated that given Watson’s reputation as a faith driven kid that he’d pay up to keep these all under wraps. When he failed to do so it went this way.
I don’t trust Buzbee but I also don’t think he hired all these girls just to make something up

Nope. That’s not what I’m saying at all. What I’m saying is the McNair’s wouldn’t risk losing their franchise over something like this.
I definitely can buy the attorney being unscrupulous. In fact I kind of expect that. Though I don’t think he paid a bunch of girls to just outright make up encounters I definitely could see him helping them embellish their stories.
I get your point but the Owner coordinating this would be a massive conspiracy, and also a way crazier story. I would actually rather Watson be innocent and the owner be this big of a tool, but it’s highly unlikely.
This is a crazy story! He went from a potential 200 mill to a potential prison stint just like that. Insane.

If the texans were behind this they would have traded him to the bears first and got that huge payoff. Now he has no value and wont be playing for them either.

The Texans organization/ownership has proven themselves to be completely retarded over the last year.

Just can’t help but thinking that if Watson wanted out, 1st question to ask is how do you make the Texans and a highly religious owner/GM make them want to trade you?

I’m usually one to give women the benefit of the doubt—certainly when there’s a friggin dozen of them. But yeah, this was my feeling too.
And for those saying the Texans wouldn’t do this, it doesn’t have to be a rational decision. If they were involved in trying to manufacture this, it would likely be more along the lines of scorched earth retaliation from an owner who’s PIIIIISSSED.
Not making any judgments until the facts are in, but do people really think a billionaire out for revenge couldn’t orchestrate something like this to destroy an enemy? I mean, what’s the point of even being a billionaire then???

I mean this case would wholly fall apart and people other than Watson would be heading to prison if one of these women change their tune and admit they fabricated the whole thing and were paid by the lawyer (acting on behalf of McNair) to do it. Not to mention unless this lawyer is batting 12 for 12 where every woman he approached to take part in his conspiracy agreed to do it, there would be other women he approached who didn’t want any part of it out there - and they’d be looking a instant celebrity and a lot of money to come forward.
Dude thought he was hiring instagram escorts who use “relaxation massages” as code. Watson could have hired a full time legit masseuse to be at his beck and call if he wanted real massages. Instead he’s fishing around instagram for freelance masseuses - how many male masseuses did he choose? If not, why not?
