I would have responded earlier but I’m with the family on vacation. Goodness, this is … everything. I had to do a double take because she’s a spitting image of my daughter.
@frm710 thanks for forwarding this along. @The_Kid I hope your family’s recovery continues and this helps in some small way. And remember, this is more of a community gift than a Nate gift. All I did was click the keyboard a few times.
I can see why my Grandpa liked it here so much. This place is very addictive. It is also strange to me to see so many people that like him. His personality really showed threw here. He was like this in real life to. Everyone loved him. When he made a friend it was for life.
This is the situation that reminds me of how interconnected we all are. I grieve at Bols’s departure. His silence (mostly the lack of grandma jokes) makes it painfully obvious the hole that is left behind. God keep you my friend.
But it also makes me take a moment to step back and appreciate the beauty of the community that we all share. A big thanks to all of you for sharing this aspect of my life.
I can really see this in Charlie. Keep up the memories.
Your grandpa was a joy to have on the forum. If we were able to help him take his mind off the illness and treatments for even a moment, then I’d say it’s been worth it to follow this cursed team and get our hopes up every season.
