A visit to Detroit & Ford Field from KC Pt of virw

Amen, brother!

Then buy seats in the club level not the lower bowl or 3rd deck. The ticket prices are higher but that filters out 95% of the less desirable behavior

I was pleasantly surprised how honest it was

Oh
Haha
Yeah, well then, good that they haven’t heard “the words”
I get where you’re coming from but soon enough they will hear them
I mean, even if they hear some low life swearing their heads off, you can figure out what to say if need be. At that age it might fly by their heads anyway.

One time my girls were say 9 & 11
I decided to bring them to see Alice Cooper at DTE
They saw staggering drunk people and pot being smoked all around us
It was hilarious
The drunks were worse than the pot smokers
I just said there’s no point going to a concert in that condition
I do know FOR SURE it didn’t change their view on any of that stuff
Your home life can be so much more influential than the outside world
I’m proud
Our girls are now 12 & 14
Both are sticking to being authentic
Despite knowing it makes them less popular
Amongst other things, I’ve drilled being authentic into their heads anytime I’ve seen some of the teeny crap seep into what they do

I actually had season tickets in the club level for 6 years from 2004 to 2009 (back then you had to enter into a three year commitment).

You’re right, generally, it’s better, but occasionally you get people who were sold/given tickets by others who aren’t “regulars.”

One thing you don’t see much of in the club level: fights. Think I saw one in six years.

They’re still too young to sit still that long and don’t understand the game yet. My Dad took me to my first Lions game at Briggs/Tiger Stadium in 1970. I think 7-8 years old is the right age.

Love it, brother!

True
I took one my girls at about 5
She yelled with her fist in the air and the whole thing
Told me afterward that she had no idea what was going on
She was just doing what everyone else was doing
