university of michigan medical man. He was 100% accurate on the injuries to houston last year and several other players over the last year or two, league wide and he isn’t a click-bait guy. Just a diehard Lions fan practicing medicine in Seattle.
A few lions content creators use him for their stuff as well…have them on their shows etc. He is very legit.
He has plenty of time to bring in a guy this deadline. The issue is that the upcoming schedule is brutal so they’ll have to navigate that leading up to the deadline.
Reports suggest that Hutchinson’s surgery may take place in Dallas before he returns to Detroit for recovery. While this is a devastating blow to the Lions’ defense and pass rush, there is some good news. Early medical evaluations indicate that Hutchinson is expected to make a full recovery, with doctors anticipating him to be 100% healthy by the start of the 2025 season.
Unless Dr. Chao has access to some sort of intel that tells him what the x-ray in the locker room said, he and everyone else on the internet is just making educated guesses.
I slipped on ice and snapped my tib and fib on New Year’s of 2020. It’s life changing. But 6 months later l was on my feet and climbing mountains, and I’m not a world class athlete with the best surgeons in the world at my disposal.
Best of luck to Hutch. I’m confident he’ll get through this. Hopefully the early reports of no nerve damage are true.
