Thank you. There are loads of these doctors on Twitter and people take their word as gospel every single time.

my somewhat educated guess is that the preliminary exam didn’t find any nerve or vascular damage… and the x-ray showed a “clean” fracture rather than a complicated (spiral) one.

We had an ice storm about 5 years that left a serious layer of black ice everywhere there was pavement.

We has over 20 people in our ER with “fall” as the reason for visit. I couldn’t believe how similar all of the tib-fib x-rays looked. We must have about 10 of them that looked nearly identical.

Lions’ll need to target more than one player, expand the market.

Prayers for full recovery for Hutch as a young man first, football player second.
Full recovery and no permanent damage.

That’s a tough pill to swallow for sure. But if somebody can come back stronger from this, it’s Hutch. I also think if there is a team that can rise up to the challenge of losing their best defensive player, it’s that team. Dan will have this team working their butts off to play for Hutch and make up for his loss. Don’t underestimate how mentally strong this team is. Oh, and I’m sure BH can work a little magic too…

I think there are a handful of doctors on Twitter that are very trustworthy. I remember the comments by a couple on LaPorta when many of us feared the worst. I also appreciate Dr. Chao’s approach when he advises others to “watch the play, not the reaction” or something like that. i.e. don’t diagnose this based on the player’s reaction to the injury, rather, judge it based on what you see happening on the field.

You might even say these internet doctors have a better point of view than your family doctor, considering there’s about a half-dozen camera angles of every major injury.

I love me some internet doctors. These guys have filled a major void.

Dr.'s are saying that it is a race against time to save the leg. I am not a medical Dr. and I am just reporting what people are saying. Maybe a Dr. in the chat can follow up?

Love ya brother…but they are just guessing for the most part. They aren’t there
