Ok, go sign Turner or JD Martinez to DH for 1/4 that on a 1 yr. Vierling swaps 3b and RF,l when Carp sits vs lefties and Jung gets AAA.
As a Cardinal fan it looks like we are stuck with Arenado now. Boston was the last hope. I think Devers moves to first in this case I can’t see Bregman going to 2nd base.

According to Rome, the deal includes opt-outs after each season.
Either way he gets 120 mill or opts out for more if he has a big year. Good deal by his agent. Especially hitting with the green monster might put up big homer numbers and opt out.

For comparison, Arenado is essentially a 3 year $40m deal total with the money paid by the Rox.

When I lived in Colorado we used to go watch the Denver Bears, they did great food and beer promo’s and even saw Crosby, Stills and Nash after a game. Triple A and most people couldn’t name 3 of the players but it was great sitting out in the sun watching games. They should have just left well enough alone.

That’s moronic. He’s a career.275/22/72 hitter. His numbers have steadily declined since his best year when he knew what the pitches were. You can’t tell me he’s THAT great of a clubhouse guy.
I do agree though, being in Fenway could provide a nice uptick in his #’s.
