Another Game stop? (Wall Street)

well target, walmart, etc are also warning about price increases depending on where the tariffs land which will affect their sales.

Please link to that. I want to read that and the source.

Soccer Mom Walmart?

What’s next? TJ Maxx? Pottery Barn?

to me with walmart warning of this, they had already picked up the slack from target who has slightly to much greater prices than walmart does, I’m not sure where people would turn if they have to bail from walmart. maybe aldis?

Future me waddling up on my cane croaking in aged voice to a kid ordering some candy from his retinal implant that will be delivered via drone within minutes…

“I remember when there were stores. I rode my bike to for candy. After mowing the neighbors lawn…”

Kid looks up confused as the feint hum of the drone approaches

Tbh, this is what Mah Sweetie has seen at the retail fashion store she runs. Traffic up a little, sales down. Margin down. Prices up. Hitting #s more dependent upon events and large purchases by wealthier shoppers

Huh. why did that get hidden? I’m real curious what you’d have said to get flagged.

LOL…I posted/referenced a link that was within the article that you linked to. It was about on-shoring of manufacturing.

Thats odd why flag that?

I just packed my truck. West Virginia, here I come.

Every time someone from IOWA moves to West Virginia it raises the IQ of both states by 5 points.

I think you confused WV with Haiti.

If a person reads charts and trendlines and then trades calls and puts on the Mag 7, you can easily make some extra income. Maybe even get up to the WV 1% :star_struck:

Nah, just a standing joke with this guy…

That TSLA # turned around big time last 4 months.

SMCI reports earnings tomorrow. It looks like they are on their way back. I bought a call today at the $41 strike and it expires on Feb 14th. That cost me $450. If they report solid earnings tomorrow and the market likes it, I could double my investment in 4 days. Let’s Roll!!

Closed out of the SMCI call today. Only a $98.66 gain, but better than a stick in the eye.

Right indeed. If I had bought that call just 3 or 4 days earlier, I could have invested a couple of grand in the new Weasel Irish Pub that’s opening up in GR.

Maybe on your next venture.
