Another year...another overrated Cowboys team

Not surprising to most though.

Yeah McCarthy the right candidate when so many available

McCarthy’s claim to fame is he had Aaron Rodgers as his QB. Even Matty Fatty could be a good coach with him at QB.

This post aged well. Not a cowboys fan at all, but Prescott is playing like a stud.

It’s the Kellen Moore genius that pulled them out… lol

Falcons did their best Lions impression to end that game.

Dak is better than Stafford

I used to love bagging on the 'Boys. Now, why fucking bother…

Yes he is. He passed him last year. There are still some that think Jerry would prefer Stafford lol.

The Cowboys fave another stiff test in the Pacific Northwest this week

I stand by the original post.

Dak plays on a team that has had it’s shit together for years, that went to several playoffs, got bowls plural…

The Detroit Lions have always been a bottom-feeding franchise, that barely had any bright spots. Let me tell you, absolutely nothing changed as far as notable improvement by the time Stafford was named starting QB. we struggled like hell and remained one of the worst franchises in the league BECAUSE we never had solid leadership @ HC, GM, DC, OC…“maybe” Caldwell at one time nd he was fired.

Dallas is/was “AMERICAS TEAM” , when The Lions were the first team in NFL history to go 0-16. We flounder because of the “quality” and I severely use that term loosely, of our Leaders FAR more than one Matthew Stafford…just ruins the team season in and season out.

Stafford is what he is because he’s F%%#ing severely affected by who leads the team ,as is the case with the rest of the team and each player on it.

Dak isn’t playing under Patricia or Quinn , but Stafford is…THAT is why Dak looks better-than.

Brady doesn’t have to play under Patricia, neither does Rogers, or Mahomes or any other QB…or they are different as well HERE than you typically see on their respective teams .

Stafford is hobbled by Patricia and Quinn, not helped. The Fords always embraced the eras of suck , didn’t change anything while the team was losing for 60 years OR the last 11.

Stafford would look twice better than he has, IF he had a team that was built and functioning correctly AND quality coaches…The Lions are always half-assed.

that starts with the Owners and those Leading/Building the team.

Seriously?
The Cowboys haven’t won a SB since 1995. What difference does what happened 25 years ago make?
Stuff that happened 10, 15, 20 years ago is completely irrelevant. Teams can turn things around in 2 short years.

Still bringing up the 0-16 stuff? That is completely ignorant. Cleveland went 0-16 in 2017.
They won 7 games the next season. They are 3-1 this season. Quick turnarounds happen all the time. The Colts went 2-14, drafted Luck and made the playoffs the following year and the AFC Championship 2 years later. Competent QB play make a huge difference.

Blaming the current Lions suckiness on stuff that happened 50 years ago doesn’t make any sense. The Arizona Cardinals track record was just as bad as Detroit’s. Put a future HOF QB under center and they go to the SB. If you put Aaron Rodgers on the Lions under the teams that Caldwell coached, they go to the SB.

Caldwell is and has been gone, and you can’t cherry pick a head coach…ot The Lions wouldn’t be a losing franchise.

The Lions have probably had the worst QBs as a whole in NFL history. The only team that really comes close would be the Bears. We are going into SB 55 and the Lions have had a QB make the Pro Bowl 2x? That’s downright pathetic.
If you want to point to why the franchise has sucked, that is a great starting point. But that is all irrelevant for this year.

The Cowboys have won a superbowl 8 times , playoffs 32 times, and ONLY had 2 seasons they didn’t do well

2010 --6-10 375 % , and 2015 4-12 with 250%

I said they had their shit together far more and they have, compared to Detroit !!
2009: 11-5 with a 669 PCT win

2010: 6-10 with a 375 PCT win/lose. X

2011: 8-8 with a 500 PCT win/lose

2012: 8-8 with a 500 PCT win/lose

2013: 8-8 with a 500 PCT win/lose

2014: 12-4 with a 750 PCT win/lose

2015: 4-12 with a 250 PCT win/lose X

2016: 13-3 with a 812 PCT win /lose

2017: 9-7 with a 562 PCT win/lose

2018: 10=6 with a 625 PCT win/lose

2019: 8-8 with a 500 PCT win/lose

2 seasons with low win percentages SINCE 2009.

What’s the point?
0-16 happened 13 years ago. No one from that team still plays in the NFL. The average playing career is about 3 years. To use the excuse that a team sucked years ago is a stupid argument.

6-10 might just win that division

You have to think that Dallas is probably going to get 4 wins against the Giants and Football Team.
