Anybody else watching MNF?

And it’s not like Sean Payton is chop liver. The guy has a good chance of getting into the HOF.

NE was not undefeated. They were winless at 0-2.
Brady went 11-3 in his first year as the starter.

Well, shit.

Stafford, Pete, Hipple, Danielson, Gagliano

Bill Parcells also found the goat assistant coach with Belichick as well. The difference between Parcells with Belichick vs without him is pretty substantial.

You missed Kramer, before stafford our best QB IMO, and a crime we let him go to chicago. I’d bet we have more success in the 90s with him instead of Mitchell.

I think people overrate Kramer based on fond memories of him being the guy that happened to be under center when we last won a playoff game.

he was a good game manager, all we really needed at the time. peete was okay except for fragile achilles. Danielson might have been good behind the 90s oline we had.

Kramer didn’t leave after the 91 season. You realize that, right?

Drew Brees: 29 of out THIRTY for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns with zero interceptions while in a December game with major playoff implications on the line.

I remember the headlines, “Air Rick!”. Check his W/L record as Lions QB. I still have several Detroit News sports pages from Monday after those games.

Dear God, did I ever hate Mitchell.

Its fine having fond memories of those days. They were clearly the high water mark for this franchise. I just think Lions fans have built Kramer into something he wasn’t.

Exactly. Sanders had the entire d shitting their pants and all of the WRs were usually in single coverage. Play action! Screens! Barry made that entire offense look better that it actually was.

Pre rookie salary cap, we had 2 heisman QBs on the roster. Fire them both, but some awesome OL, and let Barry win titles
