Anyone you want off the Panthers?

I would be shocked if they moved Burns. That’s a young guy at a premier position that a new coaching staff will want to build around. I think guys like Shaq Thompson and Robbie Anderson will be the ones sent packing. And maybe a lineman or two, since they overpaid for some marginal guys.

I hope Holmes is looking somewhere for some defensive help.
Too often all we get from the beans is gas.

I think they’d happily move McCaffrey if the right offer came around.

We’re getting Paschal and Comiskey back soon which should help.

Why on earth would they want that scrub. Jokewara

That will help. Comish has shown he can get after it and that helps Hutch.
I was high on Pashal at first, now I’m wait and see.
Wasn’t it said he was undersized for DT? Still I sure would like to see him out there.

I think Paschal is supposed to be mostly a DE.

They’ll move him around. Dan said “interior” when talking about Paschal and the pass rush at Monday’s presser.

I think he’ll be our Jason Jones type but with more juice and violence.

So did I, but I have been seeing posts saying he will be DT.
The Lions said maybe some play inside, but I don’t see him as an answer in there.

But I hope he’s another Malcom like player.

I wonder if that’s what they had envisioned from the start or if it’s more out necessity at this point?
But in saying that, I do question if we’re thinner at DT or DE right now, especially when Cominsky comes back.

I would take any of the aforementioned for our cursed 2nd round pick.

I think the plan for Paschal was to be filling the role that Comisky was in. Having those two plus Harris and Hutch should generate some pressure.

I was thinking more of a Corey Redding type role.

Am I the only one that thinks that Harris and Hutch would both be better standing up?
Harris had more success last year and this is what put Hutch in the Heisman talk.

I can’t remember if it was hard knocks or the “inside the den” but during the draft DC and BH were celebrating and threw out the phrase “inside juice” when talking about what pascal brought to the team.

I think his role is edge setting in early downs and interior rushing in nickel type, nascar packages.

I think they pascal and hutch on the edges with a good DT next to McNeil and a stud LB who can blitz is a good line up.

Harris needs to get back to whatever it was he was doing last year.

Because in theory it would give them a young cheap pass rusher to replace burns. He does have potential as a pass rush specialist.

Burns is younger than Okwara, and both of their contracts expire at the same time.

Am I crazy for saying I’d give up the Rams 1st round pick today for Derrick Brown. That is exactly the type of guy we are missing right now.

I would give up our own 1st round pick and a 3rd for Brown and Burns. Not sure if that’s enough for the Panthers though. Not sure if I would go higher than that though considering Burns needs a massive extension here soon.

A dominant DT in the middle and a speed rushing edge are my top two needs next year. Burns and Brown would be major upgrades.

Matt Ruhle?

I’d easily trade our 2nd rdp and a later pick for Brain Burns.

I really don’t mind the idea a previous poster mentioned with a 1st rdp, and a 3rd rdp for Burns/Brown.

Burns - Brown - McNeil - Hutchinson is an interesting front moving forward.

Might be able to dump Harris for a 4th rdp or so and not lose much depth with Okwara/Pascal coming back from injury soon.

Not a Panther, but what would it cost to take a run at William Jackson in Washington? Would you get him for a day three pick given he was a healthy scrathch last night?

Given we want to play man coverage but lack the corners to do so he would be a big upgrade and a nice tandem with Okudah. Going to Washington was a poor decision by him given it is a zone heavy scheme under Del Rio. He was very impressive in Cincy.
