I’m picking division. Clearly Goff and Love will be above him. I even think McCarthy will have the Vikings rolling into another winning season in 2025.

Nick Wright says he will be the best in the division……he also had the Bears in the SB last year. I think he struggles at first and you hope by the end of the season he starts to be able to run an offense. At this point I think he and JJ will battle for 3rd in the division.
I’m expecting extra hissy fits this year as pressure is put on him to play real QB and it doesn’t work.

I hope he is just barely good enough to stave off bringing in the next candidate.
In other words, perfectly mediocre. That’s the surest way to ensure the Bears do not benefit from having a great QB. Not like they’ve had that in decades anyway, but we surely don’t want it anytime soon. If Caleb totally flames out, then they’ll have to roll the dice again. Even the Bears are bound to hit on something eventually.

Nick Wright is not a talent evaluator. The only reason he slurps Caleb is because people compared him to Mahomes, and Wright will forever worship at the throne of anything Mahomes. The minute Dylan “MaPartments” Raiola comes into the league, he will be the next one Nick Wright knob gobbles.

Honestly, I think Sam Howell will probably be 3rd. But hopefully he doesn’t get to play much.

I don’t see the slightest resemblance between Mahomes and Caleb. None. Mahomes is a jitterbug who bounces like nobody I’ve seen before around the pocket. Caleb runs in circles, ends up putting himself in a worse position than he started with, then heaves a desperation pass.

I believe at the end of this season he will have been replaced as the starter.
He needs to mature. This is the NFL and it starts to get ugly for the players that do not understand that their duty is to the team and the other players. Literally their livelihood is on the line every game/season.
Caleb has physically gifts but is has not embraced the mental side and has not embraced his role and duty to his teammates.

Comparing Mahomes to Williams (not you Phunnyfarm, the article) is about as stupid as comparing a Cessna 172/182 to a Boeing 777/787 or an Airbus 330/350 just because they’re both ‘aircraft’.
