And for our friends up North:
78. Orelvis Martinez

Toronto Blue Jays

I triple checked but didn’t find any others…

7 guys in the top 100 is truly remarkable. Say what you want about Harris, but the guy is building something really special. I never thought I would see the day that we had 7 guys in the top 100.

As for our friends up north…

@stephenboyd57 keeps threatening to become a Tigers fan, but has yet to fully commit.

Nows the time you weiner.

Bryce Eldridge is being massively underrated bc currently he’s just at 1B. He threw 96 off the mound in HS but he can’t handle RF in Pac Bell. He runs pretty well for a 6’7" guy and could be plus in left. But 6’7" guys with that kind of power and without massive holes (inside and low typically) are very rare. Went and saw him last week. He had two home runs and a 400 ft laser beam double in seven ABs in a double header. As a 19 year old one year removed from HS in a league with an average age of 23 years old.

Going to be an absolute superstar IMO.

1B and relievers often undervalued.

Jung still keeps his prospect status for 2025 iirc.

I will even further pile on the GM…guess where Orelvis Martinez is right now? Suspended for steroids of course… 80 gamer. Our best prospect can’t hit a slider and is sauced to the tits. His dad is 270 pounds of pure muscle too…I wonder where the supply came from :joy:

Wagner and Loperfido have much more potential than roid boy

For all of the bitterness over the Tigers drafting Jobe ahead of Mayer, Jobe is well ahead of Mayer in prospect rank (I might still prefer Mayer’s predictability). The two guys picked ahead of Jobe - Henry Davis and Jack Leiter - have both broken in but neither have been impressive yet.

I was wrong about the Jobe pick. I wanted a SS.

Looks like I was wrong about Liranzo too.

I’m a great fan, but a suckie GM.

I don’t think Mayer was a wrong choice, but can’t criticize Avila for the pick any more

Its ok, SS has been a minefield too. Ja kson Holliday is still hitting below 190. Jordan Lawler has like 40 PA this year due to a hammy and is at least 1.5 yrs from The Show,.IF he is ok and plays a lot better. Marcelo Mayer has been up and down and hurt through 3.5 years of just now 1000 PAs in the.minors.

Elly looked like crap last year…Bichette has been an All Star and now he is Baezian out of the blue.

Tough sport to predict when they are young

What a talent though. If Skubal was to be floated he would absolutely be on my short list of minor leaguers I’d most want to go after.

He ticks all the boxes, hopefully just a hiccup year.

Missing a season w a hammy is weird though

Where do you fall on the Skubal dilemma?

Throw a bag at him now, this offseason. 8/320. Send him Jordan Montgomery’s phone number.

Force the issue, force Boras to explain to a 9th Rd guy who has made under 6 million, and most of that this year, it’s in his interest to risk blowing up his arm waiting until he is 30 to try and get 7/350 then in FA.

If he says no, talk to other GMs, and tell him you are. Make him earn his marginally better deal in a new place with new pitching coaches, teammates and higher expectations.

Basically, pin Boras down and keep kicking him until he taps out or barfs up a lung.
