I think the Lions are elite at finding players in-season who can contribute at high levels. I do think Holmes falls in love with draft projects and overlooks how good he is at letting the draft come to him
But regardless, the biggest problem the Lions have face the last two years isn’t an overrated Brad Holmes, it is injuries. Really, that is the only thing that has prevented this team from competing at the highest level

The Bears made an attempt to trade up for Treyveon Henderson.
That would have been a disaster… but Poles apparently wasn’t willing to part with enough to make it happen.

Yes, I know it looks bad now Caleb Williams isn’t a good quarterback either.. Right now, Ben Johnson looks a lot better than Dan Campbell. That’s for sure.
Not bragging or anything but I was the only one this offseason who took the Bears serious. Even I’m shocked at how fast Ben has turned that team around.
