Well this sucks, another team needing a center just like us. Only good news is the Bears draft after us but damn they have a 3rd rd pick and guess what we have in the 3rd
NOTHING

Center has to be addressed and I donā€™t want a rookie starting at center calling out the pre-snap assignments.

OK, Iā€™ll just wait until next week to start to even worry about this

The other option would be to sign a decent guard and move Tate. Iā€™d probably prefer to keep Tate where he is but if we strike out on centers adding a good guard could work

I would love to bring in Conner McGovern and keep Tate at RG next to Sewell
Then draft a future LT if possible
I just think Conner is now going to be too expensive

Yeah, I wish he would have waited until about June 1st to announce his decision. Well after the draft and free agency and left them scrambling for a replacement.

Pay a veteran Center would be my top priority by a wide margin.

Plan B (which I would overpay to not be forced to do it) Iā€™m with Boyd, sign one of the better guards and move Tate to Center.

McGovern, Linderbaum, Mays, Biadaszā€¦overpay, its that important.

It wonā€™t. Theyā€™ll just go spend the money and get the top FA center and not miss a beat. While weā€™ll be trying out the Ratledge/Juice experiment and relying on the same hopium we were smoking last yearā€¦
