Bears QB Caleb Williams not happy with Lions' Jack Campbell: 'That play was funky'

You pulled an Eberflus! Now you just have to declare that what you did was great and exactly how you planned it!

i’m just glad the media isn’t gaslighting us like they Always with Suhs hits.

for sure expected everyone to talk about how dirty it was that Campbell went for Caleb‘s knees while he was out of bounds. That’s literally the opposite of reality can see.

Jack gets bumped jogging away from the play and Reader comes in saying… you better get the F*** off my guy, I will F*** you up!!

I loved how Reader stood 2 of them up! Haven’t seen that fire from him till then. And I don’t believe anyone wanted a part of that massive man at that point! Bear player was heard saying, Caleb you are on your own brah! :joy:

Aman Ra confirms that they prepared for it and even warned the refs before the game in the pre meeting.

He did something similar later in the game as well and decided to hit a receiver last second. Looks like he’s clearly trying to see if the defender buys it and then he would have taken off.

They should just end the rule. If you’re a ball-carrier and in the field of play, you’re getting tackled. If you don’t want to be tackled, go down early or get off the field of play. I don’t think this can continue the way it is. Between Caleb playing the refs for a flag and then bitching about it post-game and Lawrence getting walloped in a slide, the results are counter to the effort.

My stance on QB’s is this. If you cross the line of scrimmage, you are officially a runner and now fair game for all contact. Just like any other player. Also, unless the player is completely out of bounds, they can be hit. None of the Mahomes straddling the line and jumping out last second. Either you get your ass OB, or prepare to be hit. Just like every WR, RB and TE has to do. If you don’t want to get hit, don’t cross the line of scrimmage and become a runner.

Looking back on Suh there were definitely some dirty hits/play… with that said some just “looked” dirty due to his physical superiority, like the push of cutler.

The original angle looked bad. The reverse angle shows a clean (and brilliant) hit on a QB as a runner.

Caleb has many things to not be happy with. This play is not one of them.

Or the hair tackle

Agreed… But the league darling Mahomes pulls that sideline shit all the time. I don’t cheer for injuries, but when a qb is pretending to go out of bounds, he deserves to get lit the ■■■■ up. Maybe next time you slide or get out of bounds. Trying to punk a linebacker or safety is weak ass shit.

Let’s go.

He tried to stop in bounds so Jack helped him out of bounds. Sorry Caleb, that ones on you.

You must be sure that your tackle is pure for the Funky Cold Medina.

I’d bet Caleb’s new HC has told him it’s better to go out of bounds.

There are a lot of NFL talking points that don’t interest me but I think ____ is a dirty player interests me the least. I don’t care. Like at all. It’s a vicious game played by quite a few players with some screws loose. I get why the NFL is trying to weed it out but it’s always going to be there. And if anything, when it comes to “dirty” lower body hits, the league’s policies have made it worse. I of course totally get why their policies are the way they are.

Bingo… I’d spear a guy in the knee all day. No fine. Coaches and fans love you.

But if you hit a guy helmet to helmet, omg flags everywhere, terrible person, cancel.him.
