Bears vs. Packers

The Packers lost every single game after Parsons got hurt.

That’s nuts

I turned it off at 6 minutes -4th quarter- figured even GB couldn’t blow this one. :joy:

Bears are playing with house money at this point. They overcame the team that has been torching them for a decade plus. I feel like they’ll play more loose next week, which I feel like makes them a bit dangerous for the Eagles/Rams. 1st HC, 2nd year QB. I know some here aren’t high on Caleb, but you can’t deny the kid has some magic in him. That 4th down throw to Odunze was elite. We just gotta hope this is the best it’ll be for them going forward.

They got a decent shot against the Rams or 9ers

 Parsons had been with the team for about 30 seconds the first time we playdd them and had zero impact on that game

Didn’t Parsons sack Goff twice that game?

I turned it off at halftime but jumped back in a couple minutes before the start of the 4th. Then I fell asleep, lol. I woke up to watch GB go back up by 11, just to lose in the end.

In the end, the only regret is having woken back up to begin with last night.

My wife and I watched this game together and we both started off rooting for the Packers, but midway through the first, I felt dirty and found myself rooting for the Bears (Which also did not feel great, but not quite as dirty).

When the Packers scored the TD in the 4th quarter, my wife said - might as well turn it off - go watch the Pistons. I said - nope, the Bears are still winning this game - they are charmed. She couldn’t believe it when they did.

Karma trumps x’s and o’s, Jimmy’s and Joe’s and whatever else there is. The Bears are simply charmed this year.

1 sack… but also had a key pressure on Goff that led to an INT in the redzone.

I stopped watching for a while once Herbstreit stated just before half how GB was a better team and more prepared.

That did not age well

Not charmed enough to win a Superbowl. But pretty charmed for sure. And hired a good coach who has maximized the team talent. A concept foreign to me as a guy who watches the Lions D underachieve yearly.

I think (hope) they’ve gone as far as they can. We’ll see.

Revisionist history. I watched the game. 2 pressures compared to being out of position on half the snaps he played means virtually zero impact. If you want to join the media talking heads in swinging from Micah’s jock, feel free. However, in the actual game, those of us in the live game thread could see that Parsons was mostly MIA throughout that entire game.

Which is great because he should miss at least the first 2 months next year so they will be 0 and 8 before he plays

Lions fans downplaying Parson’s positive effect on the Packers are just dealing with a little bit ot copium…it helps them with the self-denial that Brad was caught smelling his own farts this last season.

Would this thread be complete without Tom Grossi reaction shots?

So he made a big difference then?

if you include playoffs the Packers had the worst record in the division
