Mmmm

More and More smoke rn, and again, i think the situation is something Ben would want (GM that can share his vison, ownership isnt the best, but If Tom tells Mark Davis for patience, can allow Ben to build it, also can go for Sam Darnold with their massive cap space)

its unironically not a terrible situation for Ben to walk into.

And the GM spot is open, which i think is a really really big thing for Ben, he wants someone who can share his vison, he cant do that with the Jags, bears and Pats to a degree (Even though they have their QB in place)

its an interesting situation for sure.

Except it is … bc of the division.

Like how in the hell is he supposed to get about fourth in that division?

Yeah, i kinda forgot about it

Its going to be a grinder for whoever walks into it, and you can argue he has little to no pressure to compete instantly, for a year atleast.

After that, yeah, its a tall task

More and more ive been thinking

should have taken the Washington job last year, but i think he didnt cause he knew Peters wanted Daniels, and i think he preferred Maye (Johnson)

Also cause he had unfinished buisness here of course.

Chances are high that Ben Johnson will be a bust at head coach. Nothing against him personally but we see it every year with assistants on top teams. Being a HC is a different animal

More like Brandon Staley than Dan Campbell

Who knows. Just talked to a NFL buddy who is convinced he isn’t going to raiders. Brady is the only thing that makes a remotely credible location. Think Vrabel is a pat. Bears is smoke at this point. Jags is tricky. Bc everyone says there is interest…which leads back to the original theory he doesnt want to burn bridges but no team really does it for him. Team has to have good ownership, good management, great to elite OL and a promising qb. He essentially wants Lions 2.0. And he knows that a tall order and a built excuse…

I think Brady is to Davis what Spielman is to Ford. Big difference-maker.

Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh, Sean Payton and Ben Johnson?

Ben to raiders looking more realistic. If you listened to Tom, he would practically drop to his knees for Ben

I agree! This is why he wants to get with a patient owner. Most HC who call plays are so consumed with that, they have no pulse of the other aspects of the team.

He wants to work in a clinic?

Sounds like New England is negotiating with Vrabel. One less option for Ben. Hoping he stays!

Mobile phone typo lol

Patient: Latin origin “one who suffers”

yeah, Vrabel is likely NE’s new coach

So, real threats are prolly Raiders and Jags if i had to assume.

I want to see AG in Jacksonville with a solid OC/QB coach.

That team could use an AG culture shock. Also they aren’t in the cap hell that the Jets/Saints are.

This continues to make the most sense.

The Raiders could happen if Ben thinks Tom Brady can be the necessary influence on the org.
