You bring up a great point. You assume UM bball player knew about this tradition. I heard heās a freshman from Florida that was committed to FAU until the 11th hour then flipped to Michigan? Just like me odds are heās never heard of this tradition

@Mongoose its probably pretty known what those traditions are. Tough to say factually of course. I liked the way May handled it in his post game presser. He said he wasnāt aware, and that his guys didnāt know, but that MSU was entitled to rub their noses in it. Pretty sure coaches and players know a good amount about their rivals though.
I am not sure that kissing your own logo on senior night (which more schools do now) is rubbing the other teams noses in it, but I liked the way he didnāt back down.
Both Izzo and May had good post game pressers. Worth the listen. Izzo really really likes Goldin and May was very complimentary of Richardson. Neither willing to back down from the end of the game confrontation. Just the way a rivalry should be.

Brooks is from Michigan. He new damn well. Msu has done this since 1995.
Btw I like coach May. Dude is going to be good at Michigan. Might take awhile, but he knows what he is doing
Michigan has kind of lost itās mojo as of late so it wasnāt surprising to see MSU take it to them. Good game by the Spartyās. The calls werenāt the same for both teams but it wouldnāt have mattered. Wolf was invincible for 5/8ths of the game along with the rest of Michiganās team not named Vlad.
Michigan has no penetrators or shooters, theyāll be lucky to win 2 games in the tourney, hell they may be upset by some no namer school.
I hope MSU can make a strong push, theyāre getting hot at the right time.

Uofm has talent. The depth is the issue. Look at bench points today. If uofm loses wolf it might be a very long season next year, but im telling you May knows what he is doing
Believe me, they do not have talent right now outside of Vlad and Wolf.
Donaldon stinks, Burnett and Tschetter can be decent spot up shooters at times but thereās just nothing there right now. I was hoping that Pippen would develop like Richardson has for MSU this year but thereās just nothing there for Michigan this year.

Tbh, I didnāt think MSU would be this good this year (but i donāt think many did). Hollaman and Richardson have really come-on as of late.
Izzo big issue he hates nil and the portal.
I missed the game, thankfully, as we were brewery hopping in Athens, Savannah and Jacksonville over the weekend.
