It’s Gibbs and Laporta vs Bijan alone
Gibbs will have his moments but Bijan does it all! And very well!
Also, Campbell has been quite too. They need those 1st rounder returns to start showing up a little bit more.
It’s not like we’d give Bijan the ball either
LaPorta has been fantastic outside of getting manhandled on that block. His receiving skills are top tier.
Yea no comparison at this point.
You could see a big difference in the run game when Montgomery got hurt.
I wonder if we;d have taken Bijan if he was still there at 12. Of course they are going to act like it was Gibbs all along but the thing is Bijan can be a threat in the passing game too.
The blitzers were getting home better too
Main reason our run game didn’t look good after Montgomery got hurt is that most of the carries went to Craig Reynolds. Not the guy you were ready to draft at 6. So either there is a disconnect between Holmes and the staff, or Gibbs hasn’t earned it. Either way it’s not great
2 different types of backs! Personally I’d rather have Robinson as he is more of a workhorse type of back. With injury to DMont you could slide him right in or he could be a feature back. Gibbs is a scat back. No way I’m drafting a scat back at 12!!
Bijan is used the same exact way Gibbs is.
Gibbs had more runs attempted between the tackles today than Bijan
I think it’s important that we judge all draft picks by their second game and overreact accordingly.
It’s 12:47 am and you sir have already won the internet for the day. We can all just come back tomorrow.
Don’t even have a winning record anymore
Don’t even know what this comment means
I’m pretty sure he was being as sarcastic as we both were. He joined the party.
Damn, when somebody else said they left their sarcasm detector in their car I didn’t think that was a thing. Then I looked and there it was in the trunk.
Touche’ you son of a bitch
Atlanta might be the best run blocking OL in the league. Up there for sure.
