Well…getting in the playoffs 6 times in 8 seasons is something. And he had to face peak Mahomes/Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl most of that. Dude has been pretty amazing but today he is straight up shitting the bed.
Honestly though, the strip sack to start the 2nd half is just one of those things that happens.

In fairness, he hasn’t had a great set of receivers almost his entire tenure in Buffalo so I’m sure that plays a role.
This may not be the game to make this statement. But there are 2 QBs that I’d instantly take over Goff without thinking. Allen and Burrow.

This game is a perfect example of why statistics don’t always tell you how good a quarterback is. Allen has probably had his worst game of the year, but he’s at 230+ yards, 3 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 120.
He probably deserves a C- at best for this performance, yet on paper he looks like an A.

When healthy(which seems to be rare) I think he’s the best QB in football. His accuracy is nuts.
But his health is the reason I am not so sure I would do that deal.
I mean…being healthy and able to play is kinda important. And Goff hasn’t missed many (any?) games.
