We ended up with 30-32”, plus the 12” we got Friday. Prior to that it was almost all melted! Had to snow blow 4 times with the tractor since Friday. Now it’s blowing like crazy but I’m just going to leave the drifts melt. I’m done moving snow!

Same here. Shovelling is almost a waste of time with this wind. It just ends up back in the driveway a couple hours later. I’ll wait until the wind dies down.

I went out to try and shovel. My goodness the drifts are up to the top of my work van! I am going to have to hire someone! Plus i live on a private road so I depend on neighbors to clear it.

Nurses have been stuck at work and rotating every so many hours until other nurses can make it to work. My neighbor has been plowing from his house to the nearest county road, roughly 3 miles. But most the county roads haven’t been touched yet.
Lost power for only 5-10 min yesterday, my guess is they shut it off to quickly fix a potential issue that they seen ahead of time, then turned it back on. Likely a tree leaning or heavy branch somewhere.
Other than travel most are equipped to handle being stuck at home for a few days. School called off for 3 days (Fri Mon Tues).
Just saw that Keweenaw Michigan is up to 239” this year! dear lord. (Still 50” short of the blizzard of 78 record) but my god. Where do you put that much snow?
