I feel bad for the kid at this point. He made mistakes but nobody got hurt.
I don’t feel bad for him but the NFL is full of it too.

So does he still get a crack as an UDFA? If so he would get to choose his spot, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
What can the league do, put him in an indefinite suspension? I guess then he goes the UFL route and keeps his nose clean for a while and puts down some tape and hope to eventually get another chance. Seems like the NFL should not be able to deny him forever.

I think the nfl should allow him to play with the stipulation that he mentored off the field by Antonio Brown.

Not sure why people are surprised. NFL frowns on gambling, but gambling on your own team is lifetime ban material

But it’s cool for owners to also be part owners of said gambling sites/casinos. And the nfl can own espn and also promote their gambling stuff.

I must be the only one bothered by the hypocrisy of these leagues accepting gambling advertising money like a trick or treater on Halloween and then going nuclear on a kid who succumbs to the addiction.

yea this is ridiculous. if the NFL were honest, they would ban any association with gambling at all. so would any other sport. If there were concerns, of course, but I’m sure EVERYTHING is on the up and up.

For sure. From a league integrity standpoint being in bed with the gambling companies is very shady. Plus a lot of the best players are in the gambling advertisements. McDavid for example in Canada is in never ending gambling ads. I lost a lot of respect for these players doing that. Already super rich and then taking big money from gambling companies, all while young children who idolize these stars watch them promote gambling all game long.
