The most encouraging part of the game last night was Branch. That achilles injury is no joke. And he played pretty well on a snap count. By December he might be even better.

Call me crazy, but I think we gotta be super careful with Branch. And yes he played 45 snaps yesterday. But we need him healthy in December and January. Branch will hate it…but we need to protect him and be careful.

You wont be able to, guy was pushing for more snaps yesterday and honestly probably felt like he was reasy to go to start the season.

All the more reason to be careful. Best way to get reinjured is pushing it too fast. Love Branch. But keeping him on a snap count is a good idea. Credit to Shep and Dan for doing that.

I saw mlive listed BB’s PFF score a notch below Hutch’s - I find this every week where different outlets post different PFF scores, and different top 5s. It’s so confusing lol.
Anyway, BB looked fantastic. I didn’t expect him to be such a difference maker this early. Like I thought he’d play like this maybe by the last month of the season after getting his legs back…. but now? Super human effort. Especially given the injury. Impressive.
Last note - LaPortra and BB both need to get paid, both needed to prove their healthy, and early season returns make it appear that BOTH look healthy and really damn good.
