I got to see the new Barry Sanders movie last night at the Fox. My girlfriend is a season ticket holder and they had a special screening for them. It brought back a ton a memories from the 90’s era and of course had all of the key Sanders highlights that still give you chills. My takeaway isn’t so much that his retirement was so much a mystery as Barry being Barry. Was very cool to see the film with a full house of diehard fans who lived those years and were totally engaged. It might not totally capture the general public, but for Detroit fans it is an excellent look back.
