Best special teams player we had last season. He’ll be missed. Makes sense why we brought back JRM. Curious to why we didn’t re-sign him.

Woods, Cabinda, Pittman, Board, CJ Moore… alll good.
Woods and Board are officially gone. Cabinda, Pittman and CJ Moore remain, plus we’ve added JRM back to the mix. We’re doing ok, even with Woods and Board gone.
I think think this signals we’ll carry 11 DB’s and 5 LB’s instead of 10 and 6. Just a guess, but I think it’s looking that way.
I didn’t get Woods’ impact as a leader until I saw the mic-ed ups and BTS. They spoke about getting him and Pittman more snaps on D. But I guess we preferred JRM for his ability to provide more on defense. He is our quickest LB and can probably be an asset for certain match ups.
Pittman is likely replaced with a draft pick considering JRM is a captain/has captain potential.

What will be his role? How many LBs do you think we carry?
We usually carry six linebackers. He’s a four phase special teamer. We only have 5 lbs so even if we draft one, we still have room. Don’t underestimate Pittman.
