You also have to look at who is out there that can actually help, this was a week FA class most people that people hear talked about is already gone. I really didn’t want to be shoppers , but I thought we would keep CD and some of the others . It will be the same thing this year as last we will be a good team win alot of games but the defense will bad, you can’t draft 5 starters with 7 picks.
They need one vet CB to compete for a starting role.
Probably one DT if they don’t bring back Levi. Definitely need depth though.
One DE to start opposite Hutch. Depth would be a plus for sure.
One OG if they don’t bring back Zeitler.
One WR3 if they don’t bring back Patrick.
I might be missing something, but this is hardly panic time with what they have right now.

You Right, just slim pickings out there,and Holmes some how gets one of the best for a deal. And I was starting to panic, but Brad quietly pulls something off he didn’t just sign a cheap player for 12 million he got a player who can step right in.

Gregg Rosenthal on NFL Daily said the Lions were in heavily for Davis, but ultimately the Patriots went over Brad’s price threshold.

Zeitler was a later signing last season, like day 4 or day 5 or maybe even the second week.
