Cowboys got the ball first and scored. A Stafford pick 6. Then a Safety and immediate TD right after.
It was 26-3 after the 1st QTR the game never got going.

There’s quite a few guys on the OL that Stafford played with (Decker, Ragnow, Glasgow, JJ), who he probably still considers friends.
Maybe Stafford decided to “rewrite” the script.

Darnold look rejuvenated, he was gunning the ball all around.
Wentz fell off years ago.
Will be very interesting game. Darnold can make plays Purdy cannot. In that system the drop off might not be all that big. Though not having the rest of the starters will be a factor.
Wentz is a wild card here. And back up QB’S under McVay havent always fared well.
Fun game though.
