CFB Week 4, Sept 20th edition; top ten games & players to watch

So that’s one of the throws you’re referencing? Yeah I’m gonna hold and say 9 needs to catch that. Staff is very high on 9, but he’s had the yips in the 1st half of this game

Also Klubnik seriously, game on the line and you do that?

While i dont think its carson beck level bad, his stock is dropping quite a bit

Also so far (with lots of season left to play)

Sellers and Nuss are viewed as the most likely to be the number 1 overall pick rn at the moment.

Yes. Really.

Marshall is roasted off the line. It’s an easy touchdown. He just has plenty of give towards the end of the end zone. Instead he leads him into the sideline over the shoulder for a Willie Mays high degree of difficulty ball tracking catch.

it was absolutely positively not a “perfect throw”. It is also a drop. Both can be true.

Underwood is good. I think he’ll be the #1OA pick in 2028. I also think he needs to add more finesse to his passing arsenal. That is all. I don’t think that’s either a controversial take or one that should be seen as offensive.

You cannot count on rational takes in here.

As a complete neutral, yes Underwood needs to learn to vary his speeds appropriately. But he’s young, and a lot of young guys have that issue. Josh Allen had that issue. It’s not really a knock.

I don’t see that as throwing shade at all.

Touch is normally one of the hardest things for a big armed QB to develop. I wouldn’t expect it at 18 years old.

Underwood is young and playing steep competion but has shown alot of positives and room for growth

i think we can all agree hes talented as hell, but fair to say that hes not playing hot either

Next Year Michigan should be absolutely looking to contend for the natty again though.

Yea I said it could have been more to the left, towards the back of the Endzone. But the “touch”, arc and speed was right what it should have been. I consider that touch.
That was what I was referring to as perfect, the touch of the pass.
Edit: I still think Underwood has a long ways to go in his college career

He’s going to be awesome. He kind of is already.

Aaaaaaand Clemson turned over on Downs

Jesus christ, you had literally over 100 more yards of offense and you lost?

Dabo’s gone at the end of the season, no way hes coming back afterwards.

Okay. Agree to disagree a bit on that ball. I think he’s better throwing it with a bit more loft towards the back of the end zone. IMO that’s an easy score. But my main issue is more on throws that he drives. The out I’m referencing is probably coming in at like 67mph with a spiral as tight as can be. As Stafford found out just because you can do that should not mean you should.

It seems most of the vet QB’s that were hyped in the off-season aren’t playing up to the hype.

So far it seems to be the younger guys

What was he thinking!?

Agree, his out passes are like bullets, typically accurate, but they have zip on them

100 percent

Atleast Nuss has shown some good stuff, and Sellers upside is keeping him in the convo, but the rest? yikes.
