This guy played with a lacerated liver last year my cousin a philly fan told me?
He is a absolute dog and was one of the main reasons why i made my preseason future wagers .
He would be greatly needed and vital for a Superbowl run…
Does he have a chance to be back for the playoffs?
I can’t remember which podcast, but they had a doctor who is a huge Lions fan. He mentioned Ceedy Duce’s injury and compared it to other players with similar injuries and these similar injuries were around 10 weeks to come back. He is thinking it could be early December or even late November. We’ll see.
A torn pec is a brutal injury, and naturally the strength loss has got to be huge after the muscle heals. Agree that it’s probably unlikely to expect a return in 2023.
But I do think he will come cheap next year. And his best option might indeed be to sign cheaply in DET.
With Branch now on board, along with Kerby, Walker and Iffy being under contract, the question is do the Lions want to take another flyer on him? Or draft another S on day 3 instead?
Here’s my question; does strength loss in the upper body impact performance for a safety that much? I’d understand if it were a lineman, tight end, linebacker, but how much would that impact a safety?
Anyone an md in the room? Bc 1) MCDC said the injury was not as bad as originally thought and 2) a sports surgeon has said he could POTENTIALLY come back in december and that he has seen athletes do so in that timeframe…
I heard 3 weeks ago he was working out an doing push ups. I think he will return I like his odds to return more than Houston. He would be nice to have back even if he sits couple games as insurance in secondary. Would be great both get back.
