I don’t think I’ve watched an entire NBA game in more than a decade.
They only have to pay 5 starters, and 15 total players. Small potatoes compared to the nfl.
Agreed but they just paid 80M per year the last 4 years due to being over cap.
I had assumed the league must be flush with cash. But it does not have t hat much cash.
11B per year is only 366M per team. So they just paid 25% of their income in fines over a 4 year period. I would need to dig a bit but I have to assume the owner had to go out of pocket for that. And I get it. Dude is likely making 80M in dividends. But still…
