College coach: 'No one even came close to challenging' new Lions OL Giovanni Manu

I think Decker will still be around for at least 2-3 years yet, though I do believe the hope long-term is to move Sewell to LT and Manu to RT.

I think Manu will train as both a RG and a RT right now, but I also expect him to basically redshirt this season (everyone should remember this next year when they’re complaining about not having a 3rd rounder, Manu was always a project). I think they hope to be able to blood him at RG in 2025 and move on from Glasgow and Zeitler, or at least relegate them to backup roles.

So in 2025 I think the hope is one of Manu or Sorsdal will step up at RG, Frank will still be at C (with Hudson, Eguakun or Clemens as his clear backup), Mahogany will be ready at LG (which could happen this year honestly), and Decker at LT and Penei at RT. It’s a pretty good succession plan honestly.

The key to maintaining a good family life is watching lots of Dateline and reinforcing the idea that, “nah, not worth it.”
