Georgia won’t have their starting QB. ND defense can carry them to a win over Gerogia.
I actually think ND beats them.
I think ND definitely has a shot with no C Beck at QB, yet Gunner is a better backup than any QB on UM’s roster pre Underwood. What does that mean, nothing other than how bad UM’s QB’s were.
Kirby will have a plan and Gunner did ok in the SEC championship game. UGA’s defense may be the toughest one ND has faced.

I wonder if the longer layoff will hurt Georgia.
To me ND needs to come out in first quarter and get lead before Georgia has a chance to settle in.
Before both teams faced same layoff but not anymore.

Indiana is a fraud as I’ve thought all season. Beat zero good teams, barely beat Michigan which was their best win, got stomped by the one good team they played. They were essentially James Madison disguised as a Big Ten school.
This is why I think quality wins should be the most valuable criteria. People might hate them but Alabama in place of Indiana would have made for a more much competitive playoff.

I have had this discussion with quite a few people.
Each year you are going to have 2-3 legit teams that will be competing for the natty. Who the other 9-10 in the tournament is just not a big deal. Let some of the little dawgs get some excitement but even at 4 there was complaints of why even 4 teams.
What I like about the 12 team tournament is you can now earn your way in. Win your conference and you are in.
But I will be surprised if any of the bottom 6 teams ever win it. And really most like only top 3 AP ranked squads will ever win it. The seeding in this things needs to be fixed also.
Oregon has possible the toughest path which is assine.
