Colorado Rockies history in the making

Of course they wouldn’t. That’s why we traded for all four of them.

So how.did you extend them? Ohtani and Fried were free agents recently and got insane deals.

The big names and the postseason success we’ve had increases your team revenue in the game…so when you make a big trade, it doesn’t completely eat into your “available budget”, because your “available budget” increases.

We…the Rockies…are currently running like a $325M payroll or something…but we’re still ~$60K in the green.

By the way this is in the year 2028 at this point. It took me a few years to make all those trades and budget all that money.

The Rockies are defending 2027 World Series champions.

Did you get a ring?

My character did LOL.

So I simulate all the regular season games because there’s no way you could play all 162 games, but I did play all of the postseason games for that run.

I was in the NLCS against Milwaukee… down 3-2 in the series:

Top of the 9th…1 out…down 4-5 with the season on the line…I pinch hit Randy Arozarena for somebody (who we traded)…and hit a HR on the next pitch. Saved the season. I was so hyped.

Won that game 7-6 on a ball being thrown into the dugout by the Brewers defense. We kicked their ass in Game 7 and then swept the Yankees for the World Series.

Ohtani, Fried, Contreras, Marte, PCA, and Muñoz were all not on my team last year when we did that.

Slacker… You are in college, gotta play all 162! Unfortunately you will have to give the world series ring back.

Rockies have been on a heater lately.

Still modern MLB (1900+) worse but not by much

Colored numbers in the middle.

Per Game Stats

Dashed line is the MLB modern era worst

Might hit 20 wins before the all star break!

They brought Toglia back up. And I bet Yanquil Fernandez gets an OF callup in the next 45 days, maybe even Cole Carrigg too. Get those young OF some time as Veen flamed out

I think they go on a little run here. They have called up a couple guys that can actually play, and a couple retreads are playting well.

Now, they may still dump McMahon, as he has 2 years and 32m in payroll left afteafter this year, but less in cap charge. He doesnt hit for average, but could be pretty useful for a team with big payroll and a 3b hole.

They rarely make the right move, asset management wise, and their owner is a vain moron, so they may hold him…

But they have just enough hitting upside to make a little run and end up around 120 losses. Ots the starting pitching…always has been.

I wonder how that chart would look different if it showed what the average percentage of capacity is, instead of just the raw total of fans.
