Cooper Kupp released

I say, come on down!!

I’d gladly take him if the price was right.

He ends up with GB

Will be surprised if he is not a lion by Friday

He should be given his familiarity with Goff, but I’d be shocked if he is. It’s not what Dan and Holmes do.

I wouldn’t go that far but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lions do sign him. The fit is there.

What do you mean it’s not what Holmes does? If the Lions signed Kupp to 1 year $8-10 million that’s exactly in Holmes wheelhouse.

Anyone upset if kupp is a tim patrick replacement? He is a much higher volume guy historically so maybe the fit isnt as good?

He is not coming to Detroit! Brad would be an idiot signing a #3 WR in our offense that is 33 YO and you let your starting Guard walk and Z. Smith walk it makes zero sense.

Kupp is 31. Guess who is also 31? Tim Patrick.

Zeitler is 35.

And Smith will be 33 when the season starts.

Hope that made it make sense.

I think Brad signs Kupp and lets Tim walk.

It could be that Tim needed a revival and got it, or at least thought he did, and is testing the market.

But Kupp is a fit, and an awesome locker room guy.

So while Goff couldn’t play with Steve’s wife he gets his players to play with ….

And wouldn’t it be awsome to see Kipp come here and help us win a a SB with Goff

I don’t want Kupp. I just don’t think he’s that good anymore.

If we sign him I hope I am wrong!!!

He would be coming here as a 3rd wr. Not the guy! And at a very reduced salary. Plus he has chemistry with goff. Good locker room guy and brad knows him. Heck he was in the drafting of kupp

He would be nice insurance, with the understanding that he is 3rd/4th in the target priority.

At the right price.

That said, Jets gonna want a guy like that with Adams and all the Aaron nepo boys gone.

Here’s the thing… Kupp is really tight with both McVay and Stafford. He’s on record as saying he wants to finish his career in LA. He didn’t come out and say it, but reasonably that meant he was fine with taking a pay cut too.

And they said no.

He’s done.

I’d actually like to see Brad sign them both as a 3rd & 4th WR.

I get the connections. I just don’t believe he is that good anymore.
