Could Anthony Richardson be Kyle Pitts if he doesn't work out at QB

Do you guys think Richardson could make the transition to be a high end pass catching tight end/ big wide receiver?

His size and speed are just so freakish that he seems like the rare guy that could actually transition to a different position if he’s not working out at quarterback.

Maybe even give him some carries as he’s basically Derrick Henry size and speedwise.

Was thinking this today, you said it better.

So just one day people questioning what IF? You have to think he is a QB olr he is not not what IF

His game stats say he is not his physical stats say maybe.

You don’t draft in rd one a IF

Now, that’s true devotion to a player. Spend a couple years trying to develop him as a QB, and when he turns out to be a bust, you spend a couple more years trying to develop him as a TE.
What if that doesn’t work out, either?

So pay a guy 8 million a year to be a bust at QB, then pay him to transition to a TE. Rather just draft a guy i know can step in and start and one of the other 20 positions on the field

Then he goes and plays baseball, just ask tebow

We’ve done this before. It’s called the Terrelle Pryor experiment. It worked okay, but not great. In all seriousness, Terrelle Pryor was also an amazing athlete with similar measurables to AR (with the notable exception of vertical jump.) He transitioned to WR after not working out a QB, and had one good year as a WR in Cleveland before failing apart (physically, if memory serves).

Logan Thomas was also given a shot at QB before being moved to TE permanently.
