Ewer is a true China Doll, so Archie will probably be back at some point of the season again anyway. But he’ll be starting on Saturday against Roadkill U. Is it possible the Ewer, a likely first round pick in 2025, could lose his job as starting QB when Archie reveals his special talent again this Saturday?

It’s not like they were playing a good team.
I do think Manning is going to be good but this is Ewers team if he’s healthy. He’s off to the NFL next year.

He filled up a highlight reel on Saturday. Too bad he didn’t get some snaps against an overmatched Michigan, for apples-to-apples comparison.
Ewers threw one of the worse picks I’ve ever seen Heisman contending quarterback throw agaisnt UTSA.
I think Arch is flat out better than him.

It is fair to say Texas is in good shape at the QB position. If your starter is a Heisman candidate and his backup might be better….well it seems
The idea that scholarship restrictions and NIL would help spread out the talent seems to have massively miss the mark

I was watching another game Saturday when they broke on to show the Arch Manning scramble for a TD. The hilarious thing was they went to commercial, and the next commercial was the Quin Ewers Fansville commercial where he was saying he didn’t need backup.
“Look, we don’t need any backup. Even if he has great hair, and famous relatives.”
You couldn’t time it any better than that!

I hadn’t seen that particular commercial, but it’s hilarious in its own right, even without the timing of Ewer’s injury. It sounds like the two aren’t freaked out by their conjoined situation.
I don’t think Sark takes the spot of Ewers without his play warranting it.
