Itâs exactly what Cleveland and the Raiders should be doing but are content being forever shitty with their aging star edge rushers as their only really good players and no future capital to build the next rebuild
The Jets are a decrepit franchise but these were absolutely the right trades for them. They were going nowhere with those guys, strip the whole thing down and try again

It seems the Jets are going all in with AG and the full rebuild. Its easy for me to see AG wants this built with his guys. His culture. Weâll probably see exactly what BH and DC has done here. Mazi Smith is a good pick up IMO. AG covets those big run stopping DTâs and Micthell has talent and speed off the charts he could work out.
Jets are crazy loaded with picks and it may not be done yet. Good for AG and the Jets. They should wait for Arch Manning either in 2026 or 2027. Whenever he comes out.
Wilson, Hall, Johnson are probably the only bigger pieces that could be moved

If I remember correctly, Jerry wanted to trade Micah for Quinnen but it didnât work out. Jerry wants to build that DL to stop the run. Now Jerry got his guy. He basically traded Micah for him and an extra 1st round pick. And when you look at it that way, itâs a good trade.
Jets gonna win a few more now just due to chip on shoulder energy

Q is the one guy whoâs moved thus far that I would have liked.
Not enough to pay the asking price or to deal with his salary, but I wouldâve paid more for him than the other guys who have moved.

Haha not only are they loading up on 1st round picks, by trading your best players the full tank is on. Itâs a win win. They are probably gonna get the 1st pick in the draft for sure now. That defense without Sauce and Williams will be swiss cheese.
AG gotta be happy. He now has legit job security. They are tanking. And looking for a massive rebuild. He aint getting fired any time soon which I saw suggested on the den several times this year

The NY media can be tough. I just hope AG is still there to make those picks in 2027. Iâm not sure they have the patience to give him 3 full years to turn it around.
I agree on the haul for Williams but Iâm sitting her chuckling at the rumors just about 2 weeks ago he could be had for a 2nd.

I think the moves today show they trust AG. Those players clearly love him despite the record
